Calendar of Events 2018

This year's Halloween Parade and Celebration was enjoyed by a crowd of about 65 people. On this page is a series pictures of some of the winning participants in the costume contest!

Halloween Parade Winners

The winners in the 3 year and younger category - 1st place - dragonfly -  Ember Ely, 2nd place - pumpkin pie - Teddie Risley - 3rd place - ;little deer - Lasia Kennedy

4 - 8  Winners

Winners for the 4-8 category included: 1st place - vampire - Andrri Miller - 2nd place - ghost busters - Avery Bowyer - 3rd plalce - koala bear - Zander Klay

9 - 14 Winners

Winners in the 9-14 years category: 1st place - football trophy - Hayden Ely - 2nd place - zombie - Langstey Klay - 3rd place - unicorn - Kori Klay

Group, Group with pet or vehicle Winners

Halloween costumes were very clever at the Halloween parage. 1st place - lion tamer with lion - Emma Bailliez and Blue - 2nd place - Incredibles - Colton, Dustin, Annie, Maddie and Malora Snyder - 3rd placellllllllll - owlett with owl glider - Hannah Baillez accompanied by Landon and Shana Baillez

15 to adult Winners

A fun evening was had by all as shown by the winners in  this category - 1st place -Mistress Fall - Bev Obert - 2nd place - Little Red Riding Hood - Ericka Crist and 3rd place - Carmen Sandiego - Samantha Crist (Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? - Right here in Atwood!)

Legs are so important!

These "legs" were not in the Halloween Parade, but they were a big help when it came to judging and handing out prize money. Can you tell who they belong to?

The Chamber of Commerce continues to work diligently to bring entertaining events to the area and welcomes input from the community.

Chamber Membership

Membership in the Chamber of Commerce is open to any and all members of the Atwood Community. 

The Chamber meets at 5:30 on the second Monday of every month. The next chamber meeting is scheduled for June 11 in the United Church of Atwood's fellowship hall at 5:30 p.m.
